Garnett was selected as the artist to create, design and execute a sculptural canopy with a fine art lighting program component on the heels of his success as Lead Artist to create a permanent fine art lighting installation at the Stamford Train Station. This project has been delayed / suspended, but Garnett has been told that when the development occurs his conception will be commissioned.
The artist pounding away at a stone for a sculpture commission. Garnett has made 750 etchings on gravestones in the past 15 years. In the background you can see the steel structure which carries thousands of pounds of monuments daily. This structure is one of Garnett's inspirations for the developing architectural canopy he is designing as he teaches himself 3d rendering. 2-3 lighting programs will be the second component of this sculptural canopy fine art lighting installation.
