Garnett got his start by making art for 50 bands while he went to St. Lawrence University.  Although these archives have been buried for many years, Sandy is having fun bringing these images to light for his old fans and collectors.  There are hundreds of images that were signed and archived under the nom de plume Sandman before Garnett moved into the fine art of oil on canvas painting and sculpture.  Garnett is working on a book that will bring into focus the early graphically fueled creations that got his art career rolling.

During this time of the old Graphics 2000 years, Sandy (with the help of his brother Matt) made and sold thousands of tee shirts, culminating in the 1995 H.O.R.D.E. Tour, in which Matt and brother Christian traveled the nation and sold Sandman tee shirts and posters in 35 cities that summer.  These lines of shirts, from the Phattees to Impressions to the Foolish Heart designs, will be added to this site over time.  Keep checking back, and if you remember something you can't find, ding Sandy about it.  It's in the stacks somewhere.
